ABOUT ME

After 30+ years in business as a strategic leader in for-and non-profit environments, Mary Ellen O’Loughlin has returned to her roots. Mary Ellen has been taking pictures for nearly four decades beginning with film and eventually switching to digital. Her stint as the Executive Director for SaratogaArtsFest and then the Regional Project Director for the economic assessment of the creative industries conducted by the Alliance for a Creative Economy re-sparked Mary Ellen’s first love – photography. Now, Mary Ellen works as a portrait and lifestyle photographer and thoroughly enjoys the ongoing challenge of finding new perspectives of the ordinary. In addition to her fascination in the process of documenting the best of people – newborns, children, teens, families, professionals, creatives – Mary Ellen finds joy seeking out and capturing images of the Adirondacks, her “happy place”.
